Great Conversations About Food and Health
The field of metabolic health and nutrition is rife with controversy and confusion. Much smoke and noise, often promulgated by special interests and the food industry, fuels a global escalation of metabolic (diet-related) disease that now affects over 50% of people on the planet .
Many who join the conversation about food and health wonder whether there is any any right or wrong path forward, throw up their arms and exclaim “pass the donuts.” In this section of my website, I will endeavor to foster conversations with exceptional leaders in the field, gather some insights from their work, explore paradigms and bust myths, distill and reflect, and always provide the reader with some “actionable intelligence.” While the science is evolving, there is much we know that can greatly improve our healthy and well-being today. Their are answers already here, grounded in strong and compelling science.
In order to assure that our conversations are truly down to earth and provide meaningful and practical answers, I will inviting a few “patient advocates” to facilitate the conversations. This series of conversations is produced by Wolfram Alderson, my Global Education Director, so if you have any suggestions for future conversations, please email him.
